For Olive Point Studio, design is about more than aesthetics — it’s about creating homes that flow, feel personal, and stand the test of time. Architectural Designer Sara recently transformed her parents’ Auckland home into a light, welcoming space using a neutral palette, natural textures, and durable, stylish flooring.
Raised in a family of artists, builders, and landscape designers, Sara combines Mediterranean influences with timeless modern design. She chose Quick-Step Perspective Nature laminate in Beige Varnished Oak for the living areas and Bremworth Samurai in Kawa for bedrooms and hallways, balancing warmth, comfort, and cohesion throughout the home.
Even on a personal project, Sara approached the renovation with care, ensuring every detail — from materials to finishes — contributed to a space that feels both beautiful and liveable. Her key advice for any renovation: focus on consistency, quality where it counts, and designs that age gracefully. The result is a home that’s calm, connected, and designed to be loved for years to come.
