Hotel Indigo Auckland stands as a landmark of midtown sophistication, blending a historic façade with the energy of one of the city’s tallest modern structures. Developed by 94 Feet Pty and Icon Construction, this boutique hotel places guests in the center of Auckland’s skyline, bridging the gap between the city’s heritage and its contemporary culinary and cultural future.
To ground the hotel’s bold interiors, designers selected Natures Oak engineered timber in Black Forest. This rich, deep palette provides a timeless anchor for the rooms, offering a sense of warmth and depth that complements the architectural fusion of past and present. The choice reflects a dedication to premium aesthetics without compromising on the high-performance standards required for luxury hospitality.
The flooring was delivered through Project Oak, a bespoke service designed specifically for large-scale developments. This allowed for full customization of the timber to meet the unique demands of a premium hotel environment. Through tailored grading and specific surface treatments, the flooring was optimized to ensure that every plank reflects both high-end luxury and long-term durability.
